The Guidance of Thinking in Native Language in Foreign Language Teaching

The fact that the way of thinking in native language exists in foreign language learning is definite.From the point of psycholinguistics,and based on the relationship between language and thinking and the common characteristics of all languages,this paper analyzes the positive function of thinking in native language and the problems existing in foreign language teaching.At last it points out the necessity to make appropriate use of the way of thinking in native language to improve foreign language teaching efficiency.
