Ray-tracing simulations to determine indoor channel characteristics in THz pico cells coated with dielectric mirrors

Future broadband wireless communication systems working with THz carrier waves may cover a single room or building. Coverage could be enhanced by dielectric THz mirrors in non-line-of-sight situations. For this case, the spatial and temporal characteristics of the indoor propagation channel in a room with randomly placed objects and people are derived with ray-tracing methodology and Monte Carlo simulations.
