Generation of an equilibrating collection of crystalline solids from a dynamic combinational library.

Thermodynamically controlled crystallization of a copper-containing building block [CuL] (H(2)L = 2-(2'-hydroxyphenyl)-Delta(2)-thiazoline-4-carboxylic acid) from a methanol-ethanol mixture solvent leads to a combinatorial mixture of four crystalline solids, from which each of them is isolated and structurally characterized.
