FEA를 이용한 V 벨트풀리의 피로수명해석에서 원심력의 영향

Fatigue life of a V-belt pulley, which is commonly used in automotive power train to transfer power to other parts, is predicted based on damage analysis by finite element analysis (FEA). Load conditions on pulley are analyzed by considering interactions among the pulley, V belt, bracket and bolts. In order to find out the effect of centrifugal load in FE analysis, two analyses were performed with different condition, one with centrifugal load and the other without. Durability test for the pulley used in the analysis was followed to verify the analysis results.
