A Finite Element Method Based on Stress Slack Tests to Estimate Deformation of Asphalt Layers

In order to simplify the estimation of the deformation of asphalt layers,a modified method based on stress slack tests to estimate the deformation of asphalt layers is proposed.The result shows that not only the coherence between stress slack test and Maxwell model in theory is deduced by viscoelasticity analysis,but also its feasibility is proved by example.It is convenience for engineers who are not familiar with constitutive theory to estimate the deformation of asphalt layers.
