Structural analysis of hybrid systems modelled by hybrid flow nets

This paper describes a new methodology for modelling hybrid systems in view of their analysis. The proposed approach, called hybrid flow nets, is based on the representation on a system as a set of continuous and discrete flows. Structural analysis of hybrid flow nets is presented. This modelling methodology is illustrated on an example of batch plant.
