At the 73 meeting, the Executive Committee inter alia requested the Secretariat to finalize the MCII taking into account, as appropriate, the recommendations provided by the technical experts and the fifth assessment report of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC); to share the MCII tool with the IPCC; and to invite feedback on the tool from the World Bank in the context of its work with other Multilateral Development Banks (MDBs) to harmonize greenhouse gas (GHG) accounting across their investment portfolios, and its work on energy subsidy reform. The final report to the Executive Committee is expected no later than the 75 meeting (decision 73/65).
