To obtain both the space and spectrographic information simultaneously is the main advantage of the Integral Field Spectrograph named TIGER. The discrimination of the telescopic image elements is obtained with the use of an array of lenses. The matrix of exit pupils of those lenses is located in the plane of the slits of a conventional focal reducer spectrograph. Examples are given down to 0.5″ resolution on three spectral resolutions (2.5 A, 6 A and 25 A FWHM) on a double density RCA CCD.
