Modelling and design of high frequency planar transformers

High frequency planar transformer models with improved accuracy are presented, suitable for design, optimization and circuit simulations with all kinds of excitation and loads. The elements of the models are calculated on the basis of a theoretical field- and network analysis. A simulation of a switched mode power supply and a comparison with measurements demonstrate the accuracy of the analysis.<<ETX>>
