Supporting Platform Design and Function Integration for EMS Application Software

The design and development of power application software for the energy management system (EMS) are discussed in this paper. Based on the engineering demand of the power industry, the supporting platform for power application software, the support for multi-context including the real-time, historical, future and training context, and the integration of power application software are analyzed. The validity of the system design and its scheme of technological implementation has been verified by application in engineering with respect to the user' s demand, sufficient decrease in the maintenance burden and greater convenience for the users.
