Current Research of Control Systems for Flapping-Wing Micro Air Vehicles

As a new notional vehicle, flapping-wing micro air (FMAV) vehicle has broad application foreground and requirement of markets. The concept, features and applications of the FMAV and the technical difficulties of its control system are briefly introduced. The present research situation and development trend of the FMAV's control system are summarized mainly from three aspects: the control theory and arithmetic, the design of equipments used in control system and the implement of control system. On this basis, the key technologies and emphasis of future work of FMAV's control system are discussed in the end.
