Characterization of CTR Irradiation Environments

This report was prepared at the request of ASTM for tutorial purposes; that is, as an overview of the manner in which dosimetry relates to the Controlled Thermonuclear Research program. It was prepared to familiarize ASTM members with the role of dosimetry in CTR, but those who are not intimately familiar with dosimetry techniques. The purpose is to provide an elementary survey of CTR dosimetry and a guide to those who wish to become acquainted with the objectives, status, and outstanding problems in CTR dosimetry.
