Contact Problems of Gothic-arc Bearing

Based on the finite element method,this paper calculates the Gothic-arc bearing's deformation and loads using nonlinear contact model in ANSYS Workbench.The simulation results show that it's feasible using ANSYS Workbench to solve the contact problem of bearings and the solution accords with real deformation.The obtained ball bearings' equivalent stress and maximum contact pressure provide theoretical basis for bearings' design and failure form analysis and have engineering reference value.
