Construction market in Korea tries to increase using BIM with R&D invested by the Korean government and to find various ways to apply BIM in public. However it is still important that 2D architectural drawings perform the standard roles in Construction Consent step. Architectural Drawings based on BIM, which is 3D architectural technology, have various problems nowadays. Especially, Some of drawings in Construction Consent level need common requirement information to complete architectural drawings based on BIM. Moreover we need effective ways to produce optimum architectural drawing method. This study shows that how to solve above problems. it aims at developing a category merging system of drawings for construction consent and effective ways to produce optimum architectural drawing method in order to improve the quality of architectural design in national construction market. we have analyzed examples of existing drawings for construction Consent and we found common elements in each drawing. Resultingly we achieve effectiveness with verification from government office consenters and practitioners. we develop a template with commercial BIM software for effective ways to produce optimum architectural drawing method based on BIM. we applied construction drawings based on standard requirement information in actual BIM project. This study shows enhancement of architectural drawings efficiency and improvement of the architectural design quality.
