Application of Adaptive Genetic Algorithms to Reliability Design of Steel Plate Spring

There is a new method to design steel plate spring by fuzzy optimizing,an optimization design problem of a machine part,with the constraints of cost,volume,strength and weight,is nonlinear optimization problem with a large number of local extreme values.Furthermore,both integral variables and real number variables are involved in the problem.In this paper,Adaptive Genetic Algorithms(AGA)was used to construct a new method of fuzzy optimization design of a steel plate spring.AGA was used for fuzzy optimization design of a steel plate spring,the effect was obvious.The new method can be extended to all kind of machine part designs too.
