Discrete-time GI/G/1 retrial queues with multiple vacations and exhaustive service policy

This paper considers a discrete-time GI/G/1 retrial queue with exhaustive service policy,where both the retrial time and the server's vacation time have a geometrical distribution. Using matrix geometric method,performance analysis of the'system is carried out and some perfor- mance measures of the system are obtained.Finally,some numerical examples have been implemented by approximation approach,and the influence of the main parameters on the system performance characteristics is illustrated.
