Recently, the development of high-speed permanent magnet (PM) synchronous motors have received wide attention, since they are conductive to high efficiency, high power density, small size, and low weight. High-speed PM machines may cause dynamic characteristics such as noise and vibration and core loss and windage loss. The CAE methodology is more efficient than a real test for the purpose of looking for various design variables to evaluate dynamic characteristics. Dynamics of a mechanical system with electric motors, the force generated by the motor is generally considered as only an applied torque or force independent of mechanical state variables such as velocity. In this paper, dynamic analysis model are presented in which motor dynamics with the electro-mechanical coupling effects are embedded to mechanical dynamic models.
