Generating error-exempt voxel data

An embodiment of the present invention provides a technique for performing a voxel classification. The technique involves the determination that a voxel is intersected by a first basic graphic element having a front side and a back side, and includes the selection of one or more reference points within the voxel. The technique further comprises for each reference point, the determination of a distance from the reference point to the first graphic primitive, and the storage of a first scalar value in an array on the basis of the distance. The sign of the first scalar value represents whether the reference point is located on the front side of the first basic graphic element or on the back of the first graphical primitive.
