Method to drive TFT color screen by means of FSMC interface on STM32

TFT-LCD technology is a unique combination of high-tech microelectronic technology and LCD technology.Along with the increasingly high demands of the image resolution,fidelity and refresh rate,TFT-LCD is widely used. The working principle of digital TFT color screen is described in this paper,a way to directly drive digital liquid crystal screen by means of FSMC interface on STM32 processor was designed. The autonomously-designed hardware circuit and software program can effectively control the display control chip. The method displays clearly and smoothly in practical application. There is enough time for the CPU to process the user's program. This scheme was successfully applied to the display on human-machine interface of computer knitting machine. its hardware circuit is simple in structure,flexible in control mode,and can provide reference for other model's interface chips.
