Physical Layout of High Current Rectifiers: Modern Methods for an Old Challenge

This paper address some problems linked to the physical layout of high current rectifier: paralleling components, magnetic field close to the rectifier and also the validation of the physical layout at reduced current. Even if the impact of cabling stray inductance is well known, some new tools and methodology are today available to design quicker and safer the physical layout of such high current rectifiers.
