Improvement on Crossover Strategy of Real-valued Genetic Algorithm

This paper presents an improvement on real-valued genetic algorithm that utilizes a new crossover strategy to steer the location of offspring in genetic algorithm.The use of such a crossover strategy provides the capacity of quickly moving offspring toward regions with improved fitness.Experimental results demonstrate that improved real valued genetic algorithm could greatly accelerate the speed on obtaining optimal solutions.
