Cable radiating coaxial, especially for radio in areas locked, acquires resistance properties of fire

A radiating coaxial cable is fire retardant or leakage by the provision of an organic film 5, heat-resistant form of a longitudinal strip surrounding the insulator 2 around the inner conductor 1. The longitudinal edges 12, 13 of the band 5 form between them a gap which is located at the top after installation of the cable. The organic film heat resistant is surrounded by an outer conductor 6, itself surrounded by a protective sheath 8. The cable may be provided with a support wire 11 which is aligned with the gap between the longitudinal edges the film 5. Thus, when the insulator 2 melts under the effect of heat in case of fire, the film 5 keeps the insulation inside the cable. The invention is particularly applicable to radio in buildings, tunnels and underground spaces. (CF DRAWING IN BOPI)
