Cryptanalysis of enhancement for simple authentication key agreement algorithm

Shows that the security enhancement for the simple authentication key agreement algorithm of Lin et al. [24th Ann. Int. Computer Software and Applications Conf., 2000, pp. 113-115] for Seo and Sweeney's simple authentication key agreement protocol [see ibid., vol. 35, no. 13, p. 1073-4, 1999] is still insecure against the password guessing attack.
