FSRU LNGC 병렬계류를 위한 간격정보 검출 알고리즘 개발

When a LNGC(Liquefied Natural Gas Carrier) comes alongside a FSRU(Floating Storage Regasification Unit) in order to off-load, LNG may be in danger of explosion. Such being the case, it is critical to maintain the tension of the mooring line between FSRU and LNGC. And while it is mooring, a jackknifing effect may occur due to currents and waves, by which the mooring line tension of the bow may increase and the fender of the stem may be overloaded. In the case of the present side-by-side mooring, the pretension of the mooring line depends on the operator's' intuition, and then during off-loading, it is not managed particularly for safety. And when an unallowable tension is applied to the ORH(Quick Release Hook) due to outward influence, the mooring line is released from QRH and the loading arm is also separated automatically. The load cell may malfunction in that it measures the interval between floating units only with the tension of the mooring line. In such a case, it becomes difficult to check the interval between vessels and thus becomes impossible to maintain the tension continuously. Accordingly in this study, a safe berthing control system was developed by the use of the two-dimensional scanning LASER, the displacement sensor and the underwater ultrasonic sensor, and an interval detecting algorithm was developed for the side-by-side mooring. In comparison with previous systems, they are expected to stably control the tension of the mooring line between a FSRU and a LNGC and to effectively control the mooring of vessels.
