Analysis of Vibrational Signal of Industrial Equipment Through Short Time Fourier Transform

Presently industries are much concentrate to prevent failures of machines because that may interrupt production with severe consequence in cost ,product quality and safety. The parameter like electric current ,voltage and vibration are used to monitor the system functions. If there is any disproportion arises in these parameter the system may face some kind of problem during functioning . In this paper vibrational signal are analyzed with the help of Short Time Fourier transform in order to keep track of the conditions of equipment in the industries . The main objective of this paper is to analyze the vibrational signal from the industrial equipment through Short Time Fourier Transform. All the analysis operation are carried out with the help of MATLAB.
