Improved Fast Feature Matching Method Of SIFT

Based on the classical algorithm of SIFT(Scale Invariant Feature Transform)for feature matching,The article introduced integral image and integral histogram to detect and describe the feature point.In this way the algorithm can meet the real-time re-quirement,and then bring forward a new method of segmentation of the feature region for the fast algorithm.The real-time perfor-mance of the fast algorithm which has been improved is enhanced,while the matching capability has also been improved.The simu-lation results using Matlab language indicate that the method is feasible and target tracking of such real-time application become pos-sible.
