Accurate Energy Balance Analysis of Steam Turbine Regeneration System Local Variation

In order to evaluate reclaiming effect of energy with auxiliary steam or water, energy balance analysis of thermal system local variation is necessary. The research object is to develop accurate algorithm and model for evaluating the effect of thermal system local variation on thermal efficiency. Based on the principle of energy balance, a new algorithm and model is proposed, then the proposed algorithm and model is applied to evaluate reclaiming effect of extraction steam using by plant in the paper. The influence, caused by parameters of extraction steam, reclaiming drain water flow rate and its entering position, is calculated and analyzed in details. These results show that the proposed new algorithm and model may be very helpful for engineers to improve the efficiency of steam turbine.
