Study of Safety Criterion for Blasting Vibration of Damaoshan Tunnel with Small Clear Space

It is considered that the reason for most accidents in blasting engineering is that the logical safety criterion of blasting vibration for the protected project has not been instituted.Taking Damaoshan tunnel groups with small clear space as an example,based on the damage model of rock blasting.The vibration velocity from in-situ monitoring can be transformed into explosion pressure through software DYNA,then to transfer this pressure into anisotropic damage model of rock realized by UDEC software.The damage area of wall rock is simulated at different peak vibration velocity by DYNA and UDEC software.Safety criterion for blasting vibration of class Ⅲ surrounding rock is gained.The in-situ blasting experiment and monitoring indicate that it is logical to take the safety criterion for blasting vibration as 25cm/s..The work presented can be referred in similar project.
