Capabilities for Strategic Change

To understand the evolution of strategy one needs to have a clear idea of what is meant by strategy and the capabilities of the strategic units that develop strategy. Section 2 of this paper will explore the concept of strategy and present a hierarchial set of strategy concepts. Section 3 will deal with the properties of the strategic units that develop and implement strategy. Section 4 will focus on implications for the evolution of strategy.
