Optimal Architecture Planning of Microgrid Considering User Outage Costs

Based on characteristics of optimal architecture planning in microgrid and outage costs of users, the corresponding model is proposed, in which the time-sequence property of distributed generation(DG) and load is included, considering both reliability, economy and user outage costs, to minimize the annual network cost. The constraints include power balance constraint, network operation constraint and reliability level constraints. Especially, the initial architecture is formed through Dijkstra algorithm, while improved genetic algorithm(GA) is adopted to solve the model. Finally, optimal architecture of a typical microgrid with 29 nodes is achieved in a residential block of Shanghai, which verifies feasibility of the proposed planning model and the corresponding solving algorithm.
