Public telex-to-facsimile network interworking facility

The paper reports on a research project undertaken to analyse and develop a service interworking capability between two public telecommunications services, namely telex and facsimile (or fax). A service specification is defined upon which a draft CCITT recommendation is based, and a description is given of the hardware and software elements upon which a public technical trial has been implemented.
