Research on an Improved ZCS PWM Buck Converter

This paper introduces an improved ZCS PWM Buck converter,featuring ZCS of all the active switches and ZVS of all the passive semi-conductor devices at entire period range,and less current stress and less voltage stress benefiting from the passive clamping circuit.The principles of the proposed ZCS PWM Buck converter are explained.The performance of this converter is verified by simulative results.
