Statewide PowerPages Access: The University of Akron Experience.

ABSTRACT Full-text electronic document delivery is fast becoming a reality for libraries. A number of tools have been developed to provide full-text options to library users. An interesting example of such an option is UMI's PowerPages®. The University of Akron has recently implemented PowerPages® throughout its library system. PowerPages® is made available through the University of Akron's affiliation with the OhioLINK network. The following article will describe the set-up and use of the PowerPages® service, and show the experience of a university library in running an electronic document delivery service as part of a network.
