Some Features of Formatting the Arrival Time Distribution

The paper discusses the basic stochastic two-train and multi-train models. These models describe the process of running and arrival time distributions formation. It is shown that the distribution of arrival times is determined by the cumulative effect of several independent factors. We investigate the process of occurring the asymmetric output probability density function. The main reason of distribution skewness is a train interaction. The study takes the real world data into account. In considered model the departure deviation and running time are input random variables. The types of input distributions are selected by using statistical data. The results of theoretical analysis are confirmed by statistical data obtained on the main railway lines of Russia.
