Selection factors important in the rhinology fellowship match: A survey study of fellows and fellowship directors

As fellowship programs in rhinology continue to develop, an understanding of the interests of fellows and fellowship directors is critical to initiate conversations about the future direction of the fellowship experience. To our knowledge, only one previous study has sought to identify the criteria by which rhinology program directors evaluate applicants.1–3 Our study, in addition to confirming features of a rhinology fellowship programs considered important to program directors, also aims to explores features of rhinology programs considered important by fellows.
