THE ACTUAL STATE OF THE BRIDGE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM IN THE STATE NATIONAL HIGHWAY NETWORK OF SPAIN

Presented in this paper are the actions that are being undertaken by the Highway Road Directorate, Direccion General de Carreteras, in Spain, for the conservation, maintenance and restoration of the bridges of the National Highways Network, and the future planning and programming of these works, what has become known as the Bridge Management System (GSP).
