Privacy-Preserving Electronic Voting

Privacy is an important issue in electronic voting. Several electronic voting schemes have been developed in the past and some of them provided meth- ods for dealing with privacy protection in the electronic voting system. To further enhance the privacy level, in this paper, we propose a new approach to tackle the privacy problem inherent in the electronic voting system. A privacy measure is pro- posed and extensive privacy analysis is conducted for the proposed scheme. It is shown via experiments that the proposed method is effective in electronic voting systems.
