German Airport Review

This article provides an overview of the airport industry in Germany for 2007. Despite a 6% average increase in passenger volume for 2007, industry representatives are concerned about the impact that rising fuel costs will have on passenger numbers. Recent developments and financial overviews of the following airports are included: Frankfurt (Rhein-Main and Hahn); Munich (Franz Josef Strauss); Cologne/Bonn; Berlin (Schonefeld, Tegel, and Tempelhof ); Hamburg (Fuhlsbuttel); and, Dusseldorf.
