Uranium Mining in Australia

The purpose of this article is to provide a general overview of the law in relation to the mining of uranium in Australia (with a focus on Western Australia). It is not intended to be exhaustive on the subject. Rather, it highlights the issues that need to be addressed from a legal perspective if a mining company wishes to explore for, and ultimately, proceed to mine uranium.
