Concept of Microbiological Processes

At the beginning of this book, the authors emphasize how microbiological process technology is an emerging and promising practice for generation of value-added products using microorganisms (or their parts) to make or to modify products, or for development of new microorganisms for specific uses. An impressive and highly informative database analysis explains how the modernization of technology and computerized downstream processes have upgraded the biotechnology industry into an environmentally friendly and economically viable business. This is possible because biologics can be optimized in a controlled culture under standard regulatory norms.
