Method for processing signal of adaptive array smart antenna in array smart antenna system

PURPOSE: A method for processing signals of an adaptive array smart antenna in an array smart antenna system is provided to improve performance of a smart antenna regardlessly of a characteristic of constant envelop. CONSTITUTION: A repeating coefficient(i) and a steering matrix A are initialized as 0 and A¬0, respectively(300). A state of standby is maintained until snapshots of N number are received(302). The repeating coefficient(i) increases as much as 1 when the snapshots of N number are received(304). A transmission signal matrix S¬i for minimizing F(A,S:X) is obtained by using a steering matrix A¬(i-1)(S306). A steering matrix A¬i for minimizing F(A,S:X) is obtained by using the transmission signal matrix S¬i for minimizing F(A,S:X) and a normalizing process is performed(308). A state of convergence of the matrix A¬i is checked after the normalizing process is completed(310). The next process is performed if the matrix A¬i is converged(312).
