Kinetic Model of Printed Circuit Boards from Typical Waste Life Electro-equipments

Printed circuit boards (PCBs) from waste color televisions, computers, mobile phones and washing machines were pyrolysed in strict conditions with the aim of studying the dynamic rule. The variations of initial temperature, final temperature, peak temperature, and reaction time on different circuit boards behave similarly as the heating rate is increasing. A kinetic mode was established based on the assumptions of non-isothermal and heterogeneous reaction. The activation energy E, pre-exponential factor A and reaction order n of different PCBs were obtained by using the Kissinger method and shape index method. The calculated results agreed with the experimental data well.
