Angular Correlations between K-Conversion Electrons

THE angular correlations between successive conversion electrons are particularly interesting because, in contradistinction to the correlations between the unconverted γ-rays, they also depend on parity1. They are, however, difficult to investigate: the various conversion lines must be separated, and scattering effects should be carefully avoided. Early experiments2 did not meet these requirements and remained inconclusive.
