A safety protection and running state monitoring device for a construction hoist comprises a programmable logic controller, a frequency converter, a control main board, a mechanical sensor, a weighing controller, an anti-clashing sensor, a safety spacing, an operation keyboard, a liquid crystal display and a voice prompt device; the signal output terminal of the mechanical sensor is connected with the signal input terminal of the bearing controller; the signal input terminal of the programmable logic controller is connected with the signal output terminals of the frequency converter, the weighing controller, the anti-clashing sensor, the safety spacing and the operation keyboard; the serial communication interface of the programmable logic controller is connected with the signal input terminal of the control main board; and the signal output terminal of the control main board is connected with the signal input terminals of the liquid crystal display and the voice prompt device.
