A simplified method for construction of geometric model and its application in FLAC 2D numerical modeling

The FLAC is an effective implement for geotechology analysis,which processes strong calculating ability and quite good second exploitability,and it can solve many complicated problems which other FEM software cannot simulate,such as excavating by stages,large strain deformation,nonlinear and non-stability problems(even large-scale yield or entirely landslide).Whereas,FLAC mainly in command mode,namely menu mode,the efficiency of building geometry model would descend apparently when the geo-engineering condition was complicate.So the increased applying of FLAC was restricted in some measure.In order to solve this contradiction,the writer proposes a simple method to translate CAD data to FLAC language.
