Grafcet : from theory to implementation

The need to complete the definitions of the Grafcet model with instructions for use, in order to organize its evolution rules, has led to introduce an algorithmic structure named player algorithm. The algorithm described in this paper aims to adjust these instructions for use to the new extensions of Grafcet. At last, the implementation algorithms used in a CAD tool such as CADEPA are compared to this theoretical algorithm, in order to estimate the impact of practical technological constraints on to the Grafcet realization.
