This issue of the journal is entitled 'Providing culturally relevant adult education: a challenge for the twenty-first century', and is edited by Talmadge C. Guy. The articles in this volume examine the theoretical and practical issues in the provision of adult education for socially, politically and culturally marginalised groups in the United States, with particular emphasis on learner culture.
