The invention discloses an engine performance simulation method. The method for calculating the design point performance and non-design point performance of an engine comprises the following steps of simulating the aero-engine performance through part proper matching calculation, namely establishing mathematic models according to the difference of description methods and the difference of complexity for characteristics of main parts of the engine in the calculation of the overall performance of the engine; determining a common working point of the engine according to a common working relationship of the parts and completing the calculation of the engine performance. According to the method, main working conditions of the engine under the atmospheric environment are simulated, and internal state parameters of the engine are provided. Design parameters and related data are provided for related design research units, meanwhile, technical parameters can be provided for production and overhaul service related manufacturers, the actual production is served, and a fault cause is searched and analyzed. The work efficiency for performance calculation of the series engines is greatly improved and the deep development capacity for the series engines is improved.
