Abstract In conventional magnetic measurements, only the same components of the magnetic flux density B and the magnetic field intensity H in the excited direction are measured as scalar values. We have used a two-dimensional magnetic measuring apparatus to understand the magnetization process of B and H having a phase difference in space, because the values should be treated as vector values. Two-dimensional magnetic properties quite differ from conventional properties.
