Probabilistic Estimation Redundant Control Algorithm for Wireless Sensor Network

Redundant control is an important problem in wireless sensor network.Redundant control can effectively improve the efficiency of WSN and prolong its lifetime.A probabilistic estimation redundant control algorithm(PERCA)is proposed.According to the number of neighbor nodes and their signal strength,PERCA uses a probabilistic method to estimate the portion that the coverage of each node covered by other nodes, and allow nodes as many as possible to sleep by comparing to each other. The simulation results show that, with less precondition and lower computational complexity, the algorithm can control the redundant degree effectively and flexibly.
